Trauma Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an integrative therapy with empirically based research that helps with trauma, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and other areas of concern. EMDR uses right to left bilateral stimulation to help your brain process past events that have stuck with you . Many people have described it as feeling less stuck with the memory, images, body sensations, emotions, and beliefs associated with a specific or complex trauma, which allows them to feel free and a sense of final understanding of self. This is offered in person and online. Research has found that EMDR does not only work with trauma but can work with other forms of disorders such as anxiety and depressive disorders.
