Mara specializes in working with anxiety disorders, self-esteem, and personality disorders; She also has the unique niche of working researchers/ academics as well as well as those who have lived abroad. Her therapeutic work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Psychodynamic therapy. She is warm and open-minded allowing her clients to have a safe space to open up. Prior to becoming a therapist, Mara worked as a researcher at Harvard Medical School, University of Pennsylvania, and as a Fulbright scholar in Budapest, Hungary, studying psychotherapeutic interventions for anxiety disorders and personality disorders. Her work has resulted in 20+ publications in research journals and popular science magazines. She lived in Europe for 5 years and travels often abroad in order to engage in several cultures.

Melina Rodriguez, LPCC

Melina’s approach to the counseling process is a blend of psychotherapy, self-exploration, and skill building through a healing relationship with honesty, genuine care, humor, and compassion. Nontraditional creative outlets we may incorporate depending on your individual needs include nature walks, art, music, writing, mindfulness, and more. Her specialties include working through shame/guilt, empowerment and self-worth, anxiety and depression, stress reduction, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy skills - all through a trauma informed and multicultural lens. Melina does individual and couples therapy in both English and Spanish.

Meron Girmaiy, LMHC

Meron's long-term focus is on making mental health care a more accessible and far-reaching resource through creating an open and warm atmosphere. Meron has worked in various settings including schools, outpatient, and residential. She especially enjoys supporting others in taking charge of life's expected and unexpected transitions. Meron is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts and works with Ember as a practice Coordinator as well as a telehealth provider in Boston.

 

Lindsay Orleans, LCSW

Lindsay, a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who believes in the power of meeting clients where they are at on their individual journeys towards positive change. Lindsay understands each person is unique, and tailors her therapeutic approach to address the specific needs or concerns of her clients but utilizing various therapeutic approaches such as DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, AAT, mindfulness, motivational interview, art therapy, and play therapy. Lindsay is accompanied by her therapy dog, Oliver who enhances the therapeutic process by providing an additional layer of support and connection. Lindsay addresses a spectrum of concerns with children, teens, and young adults who are currently experiencing the impacts of ADHD, Anxiety, Trauma, Depression, Behavioral Issues, and various other concerns.

Caley Braun, LCSW

Caley specializes in helping adults, teens, and children heal trauma and navigate depression, anxiety, life stressors and transitions. She also provides individual and couples therapy to her clients. She brings an open, creative, and relational style to her work, utilizing a holistic approach that integrates mindfulness, neurobiology and attachment with trauma-focused and evidence-based therapies. Caley uses a blend of EMDR, Synergetic Play Therapy, Parts Work, and Attachment-focused Family Therapy, while incorporating creative elements that are unique to each client. Caley aims to provide a light on the path to healing and growth as she works with you to establish safety, build awareness, process the past, and form new ways of coping.

Claire Coonrod, LCSW

Claire’s goal in therapy is to provide her clients with a safe place to be able to grow. She brings her caring, empathetic, and genuine nature into the therapeutic environment. Claire will sit with you through your pain, celebrate your small and big wins, and laugh with you through life’s funny moments. Claire’s focus is working with obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She takes a trauma-informed approach and is EMDR trained. In addition, Claire uses exposure and response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. Through these approaches, Claire is able to watch her clients reach their goals, which fuels her passion for the field.

Jamie is passionate about psychotherapy and the impact it can have on society. His passion for psychotherapy stemmed from his own experiences with therapy and the powerful impact it made on his own life. He has a reflective style that he brings into the therapeutic environment in order to achieve deeper and more authentic connections with clients. He displays high levels of conscientiousness which allows him to be deeply engaged with his clients. Prior to his work in psychotherapy, Jamie’s career spanned across the corporate sectors in London, England. This enables him to incorporate his own professional experiences into his therapeutic work, specifically with working professionals who suffer from anxiety, burn-out and stress. Jamie primarily works through a psychodynamic lens, however, tailors his approach to meet the clients needs. 

Danielle Polifroni, LPC

Danielle is a licensed professional counselor with over 14 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals navigate complex emotional challenges. She strongly believes that even the most difficult emotions and thought patterns hold protective and positive intentions. Her goal is to help clients uncover the roots of these patterns, listen to their unmet needs, and work with these feelings to find healthy, fulfilling resolutions.

Taking a non-directive approach, Danielle empowers clients to discover their own solutions within a safe and supportive environment. Hunter Glew, LPCC

Hunter is a mindfulness based therapist, passionate about interweaving multiple healing modalities for more holistic healing from trauma, anxiety, and grief, among other things. She believes in the power of the body and mind to heal when offered compassion, stability, and safety, which she works to build within the therapy room. Through strong therapeutic relationships and an accepting environment , she works with individuals and couples through their personal growth.  She works with her clients to identify and modify patterns and behaviors that have brought them into counseling. She emphasizes their strengths and abilities to cope with life’s obstacles creating resilience and confidence. Some of Sophie’s clinical interests are in life changes, anxiety and depression, and fostering relationships.

 

Hannah Beer, LPC

Hannah is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who wants to journey alongside her clients through whatever they are going through. She has experience working with clients who are battling substance use, relationship issues, as well as anxiety and depression. She is also trained in perinatal mood disorders.

Hannah brings a client-centered approach, and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as mindfulness techniques to help clients reach their goals. She will come alongside you during your lows and cheer you on during your highs. She believes in the importance of laughter, and creating a safe environment for clients to make progress towards their goals

Betsy Hamre, BA

Betsy has loved working in and around schools to better her comprehensive understanding of healthy child development. She is particularly fascinated by educational sociology and the role that school plays in a student’s understanding of herself and the world around her. 

Betsy loves listening to music and podcasts. She is always excited to try new restaurants in the area, and, of course, hit a beach on sunny summer days!

Abby Turcotte, LCSW

Abby is a LCSW from Massachusetts but works as the practice manager at Ember Psychotherapy Collective. Outside of Ember, she is also a social worker. Abby works with children, adolescents, and teens. Abby’s unique social work and psychotherapy background helps Ember excel as a practice under her management.
